Terms & Conditions - London Photo Taxi Tour

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings for tours and photography services provided by London Photo Taxi Tour (operated by Adam Soller Photography) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking, you agree to these Terms.

1) Who we are & how to contact us

2) Services

  • We provide bespoke private tours and professional photography (no fixed packages; every tour is tailored, even if our website shows example “frames”).

  • The itinerary, route, timings, and photo locations may vary based on traffic, weather, events, access restrictions, and your preferences discussed with us.

3) Booking & payment

  • How to book: Email, phone, WhatsApp/social DM, or through our website/partners (where applicable).

  • Deposit: A minimum 25% deposit secures your date/time (non-refundable outside the cancellation policy below).

  • Balance: Due on the day of the tour unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Methods: Bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash (we may also use providers such as LoPay for deposits).

  • Currencies & pricing: Prices are quoted in GBP. Prices on the website are indicative and may vary with bespoke arrangements.

  • What’s included: Our driving/guide/photography time and edited images as described below.

  • What’s not included: Attraction tickets, venue admission, meals, drinks, parking or congestion charges, and any third-party costs unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing.

4) Cancellations, rescheduling & refunds

  • Your cancellation:

    • Up to 4 full days before the tour start: full refund of sums paid.

    • 3–1 days before: 50% refund of sums paid.

    • On the day: no refund (refunds on the day remain at our absolute discretion).

  • No-shows/late arrival: No refunds for no-shows. Late arrivals may reduce your tour time and are not refundable.

  • Rescheduling: A change of date/time is subject to our availability. If we cannot accommodate, the request will be treated under the cancellation terms above (unless we agree otherwise in writing).

  • Our cancellation: If we cancel (including illness), you’ll receive a full refund or be offered a reschedule/substitute where possible — your choice.

  • Weather/conditions: We can often operate in light rain and typical London weather. If conditions are unsuitable, we’ll try to move the tour; if no suitable date is found, we’ll provide a full refund.

  • Traffic/access issues: If roads are closed or movement by cab is impractical, we may offer a walking tour or other reasonable alternative. If no solution works, you’ll get a full refund.

  • Vehicle breakdown:

    • Before the tour: you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

    • During the tour: a pro-rata charge will apply, taking account of time elapsed and photos already taken; we will agree this with you at the time.

  • Consumer Contracts Regulations (CCR): Because our services relate to leisure activities for a specific date/period, the usual 14-day cooling-off right does not apply to dated bookings made at a distance (online/email/phone).

5) Client responsibilities

  • Timekeeping & communication: Please be on time at the agreed pick-up. Keep your phone on and preferably use WhatsApp for updates.

  • Insurance: You are responsible for your own travel/medical insurance.

  • Conduct & safety: Seat belts are recommended at all times. No smoking/vaping. No feet on seats. No unauthorised food in the taxi.

    • Soiling/cleaning: A reasonable cleaning fee may be charged for soiling/damage.

    • We may refuse service or stop the tour (without refund) for abusive, unsafe, or intoxicated behaviour.

6) Our responsibilities

  • We will provide the tour and photography with reasonable skill and care.

  • Variations: We may vary routes/timings for safety, traffic, or access reasons.

  • Emergencies/delays: In emergencies (including illness) we may reschedule, provide a substitute licensed driver/photographer, or refund as set out above.

7) Photography — deliverables & usage

  • What you receive: Typically ~10–40 professionally edited images (volume depends on tour length and what we agree in advance). Delivered via a password-protected online gallery for up to 12 months. Files in high-resolution (printing) and low-resolution (social media). If you cannot access the gallery, we can send a zipped download by email.

  • Included in price: The edited images described above are included in your tour price unless we agree otherwise.

  • Turnaround: Delivery times are indicative; time is not of the essence.

  • Your licence: We grant you a royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual licence for personal use (including personal social media). Commercial use (e.g. advertising) requires our prior written permission.

  • Our promotional use:

    • Adults: We may use photos of adult clients for our website/social media on a legitimate interests basis without naming you. You may object or ask for removal at any time.

    • Children: We will not use identifiable images of children for marketing without parental consent.

    • Names/testimonials: We will only publish your name or testimonial with your explicit consent.

  • Edits & RAW files: We deliver final edited images; RAW files are not supplied.

8) Accessibility & special requirements

Please tell us about any mobility or accessibility needs in advance. We’ll do our best to accommodate with suitable routes/stops, but some locations may involve steps or uneven ground.

9) Third-party services & tickets

We may recommend or help you arrange third-party attractions or experiences. These are subject to the third party’s terms and are outside our control and liability. Any tickets or fees are your responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing.

10) Liability

  • Keep personal belongings with you; we are not liable for loss/theft/damage to your property.

  • We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss (e.g. missed flights, accommodation, or business losses).

  • Nothing in these Terms limits/excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

  • We maintain appropriate insurance for taxi services and photography activities. When walking or crossing roads, you must take care and follow safety instructions.

11) Children & minors

  • Under-18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

  • Child seats: We do not provide child seats. You are responsible for the supervision and safety of minors in your party.

12) Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather, strikes, public events, road closures, terrorism, pandemics, police activity, or utility failures). If affected, we will offer a reschedule or refund as appropriate.

13) Complaints

If anything falls short, please tell us as soon as possible so we can put it right. You can also write to info@londonphototaxitour.com. We aim to acknowledge and respond promptly and fairly.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking applies. For existing bookings, we will notify you of any material changes that affect your booking.

15) Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

16) General

  • No waiver: A delay in enforcing a right does not mean we waive it.

  • Severance: If any part of these Terms is invalid, the remainder remains effective.

  • Third-party rights: No one other than you and us has rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce these Terms.

  • Entire agreement: These Terms (plus your confirmation/quote and our Privacy Policy) form the entire agreement for your booking.
