London Photo Taxi Tour (operated by Adam Soller Photography) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1) Who we are

2) What data we collect

We may collect:

• Identity & contact data: name, email address, phone number and (rarely) a UK address you provide.

• Booking & communications: tour details, date/time, messages and emails you send us.

• Photographs: images taken during tours which may include identifiable individuals (adults and children).

• Payment & transaction data: payments made by LoPay, bank transfer, or other agreed methods; amounts, dates and references.

• Website usage data: via Google Analytics and Wix Analytics (non‑essential cookies – see Cookies below).
  We do not currently run any on‑site contact forms or newsletter signups.

3) How we collect your data

• Directly from you by email, phone, WhatsApp or social media.

• Automatically, when you visit our site (analytics/cookies – see Cookies below).
  We currently store form submissions online, but they are protected.

4) Why do we use your data and our lawful bases

We only use personal data when a lawful basis applies. Depending on the context, we rely on Contract, Legitimate Interests, Consent, and, where relevant, Legal Obligations.

Legitimate interests for adult photos (no names): We showcase the nature and quality of our tours. We minimise impact by avoiding names/identifiers, using images contextually, and offering an easy opt‑out/removal path at any time. If you object, we will stop using (and where feasible remove) your image from our channels.

5) Newsletters and direct marketing

• If we launch a newsletter, we will only send it to people who have explicitly opted in, or to existing clients under the soft opt‑in where applicable.

• Every message will include a clear unsubscribe option.

• We keep a suppression list to ensure we continue to respect your opt‑out.

6) Sharing your data (processors)

We do not sell your data. We may share limited data with trusted service providers who help us run the business, for example:

• Wix (website hosting and platform; may provide site analytics features).

• Google Analytics (aggregated website usage analytics).

• Payment providers and banks (e.g. LoPay, your bank and ours).

• Email/IT providers (to send/receive your emails and store files securely).
  These providers act as our processors and only process data under our instructions. Some may be located outside the UK. Where international transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.

7) How long we keep your data

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above, and to meet legal/operational requirements:

• Bookings, invoices & transaction records: up to 7 years (to meet tax and accounting obligations).

• Photo galleries delivered to clients: stored for up to 12 months in password‑protected galleries.

• Selected promotional images of adults (no names): kept until you object or we retire the material.

• General enquiries not leading to a booking: up to 24 months.

• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe (plus a suppression list so we don’t contact you again).

• Analytics data: retained as configured in our analytics tools.

8) Cookies & analytics

• Our site uses Wix’s cookie banner. We set non‑essential cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Wix Analytics) only with your consent. You can change your preferences at any time via the banner or your browser settings.

• Google Analytics 4 helps us understand site usage; it does not log IP addresses and offers privacy controls.

• If you decline non‑essential cookies, the site will continue to function, but analytics features will be limited.

9) Children’s data and images

• We do not publish children’s names. We will only use a child’s image for marketing with explicit parental consent.

• If you believe we have used a child’s image without appropriate consent, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

10) Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (including password‑protected galleries and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we aim to protect your data to a commercially reasonable standard.

11) Your rights

You can ask us to:
access your data; correct inaccurate data; delete it; restrict or object to processing (including a right to object to marketing and use of adult photos); and request data portability. To exercise your rights, email info@londonphototaxitour.com.
